Soundbeam 6 – Autumn Term 2026

The Soundbeam is an instrument consisting of movement sensor ‘beams’, switches and a touchscreen computer containing a collection of ‘soundsets’ and videos, all of which allow several pupils to improvise together in fun, intuitive ways.
It can be used to develop improvisation skills; create immersive and multi-sensory environments; support storytelling and thematic work; and for cross-arts activities with movement and dance.
